Personal Information:
I've been a missionary in the Philippine jungle, raised four children, ran a business, and experienced a variety of other adventures as well. I graduated in May 2008 with my Masters in Christian Ministry from M.B.B.S. (Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary) and I have spoken into women's lives through personal counseling, Bible study, and retreat format. I've mentored and taught, worked with prisoners, and served as chaplain at three area hospitals, but these are only the start of my qualifications. I serve because of my failures, or rather what my failings have produced in me.
Twenty years ago I returned from the mission field in defeat, and subsequently lost my marriage and had to file bankruptcy. These losses are what made me begin to ask the serious questions about what difference Jesus Christ really makes in this life. This journey of discovery is why I serve with compassion and conviction. I'm a mother, a daughter, a wife, a student and a friend. I've counseled and taught, cried, prayed, and laughed through this journey called life, but mostly, I am His and He is mine - because of a cross. I'm passionate about that cross and I serve so that others may know Him.
