Tucker Russell has known since he was in high school that he wanted to go into ministry. The real question was, “what would that ministry look like?” Tucker visited China for missions, spent a year working with his church, and finally came to the conclusion that what he really needed was more education.

“The faculty at MB Biblical Seminary welcomed me to Fresno,” says Tucker. The personal interaction between students and professors is an important and valuable part of Tucker’s experience at seminary. “The faculty at MBBS have supported my ministry goals, and been very attentive and helpful.”

Although Tucker’s future may still be unknown, he believes that studying at MB Biblical Seminary has been a huge benefit to him. “Studying at an anabaptist and evangelical school has helped me understand the issues of peace, justice, simplicity, community and the Gospel. These issues are more than just related, they are an integrated whole!”
