Admitted on Probation
Students admitted on academic probation due to a low GPA, or accreditation probation due to the undergraduate degree being earned at an unaccredited institution, will not be evaluated for change of status until the student has completed a minimum of 12 units of course work for credit. Probation will be lifted if a student has successfully completed the units with a minimum 2.50 GPA. The Academic Committee may recommend termination if probation is not lifted.
Students admitted on language probation must continue to take the TOEFL each semester until a score of 550 (written) or 79 (internet) is achieved. This requirement will be waived if after completion of 12 units a 3.0 cumulative GPA is achieved.
