Admissions without a Bachelor's degree
A student will be considered for admission to MB Biblical Seminary into the MDiv, MACM or MAIM degrees or one of our diploma programs without the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree if they have:
- Minimally two years of post-secondary education (i.e. 60 semester units)
- Some years of work experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Evidence of life experience which has prepared them for graduate theological education
According to the Association of Theological Schools 10% of the annual enrollment in the MDiv, MACM or MAIM degrees may be comprised of individuals who do not have a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Such students may only pursue the degree or program to which they have applied. A minimum of 18 units per academic year is required to continue at the Seminary.
Accepted applicants who intend to ultimately enroll in a degree program will first complete the Diploma in Christian Studies or enroll in a degree completion program at an undergraduate school. Upon successful completion of either program, achieving minimally a 2.50 GPA, the student will be considered for full acceptance to a degree program at MB Biblical Seminary’s Fresno campus.
