Grant Jones-Wiebe
Grant began aggressively expanding his knowledge of Christ in sixth grade when he started waking up early to read the Bible. Later, because of his experience growing up in Nigeria as a missionary kid, Grant became a student leader in International Student Ministries through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at Fresno State.
Grant’s favorite class so far has been Greek, and he says, “I love to learn.” Grant envisions using his diverse skills locally because “God clarified that he can use the local church. The church can become a place that equips missionaries.” Grant is attending MB Biblical Seminary because he wants to shape those skills and use them to their fullest potential, equipping others to serve.
Now as a member of North Fresno MB, Grant is highly involved in their Social Action Response Team. Grant says the seminary was a good choice for him because, “I have relational skills, and MB Biblical Seminary is a relational school.”
Grant is a Master of Divinity Student and is married to Mary Lynn, an MA New Testament alumnus of MB Biblical Seminary. They have a daughter, Elizabeth and a beagle named Flash.
