Campus Employment
A limited number of jobs for 10 hours per week are available in Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds, Library, Archives. Jobs are available on a first-come first-served basis to qualified individuals who are eligible for financial aid. International students on F visas receive first consideration. A student may expect to earn about $200 per month in such a job.
To apply for campus work contact the following persons directly:
- Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Library: Librarian
- Archives: Archivist or Librarian
There are also occasional jobs such as Common Meal cook, cleanup, refreshments for special events, substitute secretarial. Contact the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Teaching Assistantships are merit appointments made to students whom the faculty judge capable of teaching and research assistance. A student may usually work a maximum of 90 hours as a T.A. during the school year, and for no more than one faculty.
Every student who works on campus must fill out a W-4 form (and I-9 forms for international students) in the business office before turning in their first time card.
