Amount

Determined annually based on endowment earnings.  Approximately $3,000-$5,000 per year.

Criteria

• Male Student studying at MBBS/Fresno who is preparing for pastoral ministry.
• Student may be International or from North America.
• Completion of 30 units required
• GPA of 3.0 required
• Student must show promise of success in pastoral ministry.
• Student must demonstrate a commitment to the life and health of the local church.
• Student must be studying at MBBS/Fresno campus.

Description

This scholarship is funded by an endowment established by the family to honor Michael Eckgren and Bryan Goossen.

Award Process

• Scholarship will be awarded annually in Spring for the next academic year.
• Financial Aid Committee will recommend students to Academic Committee.
• Academic Committee will forward recommendation of recipient to Faculty Council.
• MBBS will inform the donors of the recipient and also send notice of the recipient to Janice Eckgren, widow of Michael C. Eckgren.
