Recent changes to Scholarships

We have recently reviewed and revised our scholarship offerings. There are some scholarships that have been removed and there are new scholarships that have been added. We have defined the scholarships, grants, and tuition discounts in the following categories:

• Designated/Honors Scholarships
• Entering Student Scholarships
• Externally Funded Scholarships
• Other Financial Assistance
• Returning Student Scholarships
• Tuition Discounts, Waivers, and Grants

The Seminary scholarship fund is made up of a variety of contributions from individuals, families, and foundations. These are distributed by the Financial Aid Committee at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Below are links to the different categories of scholarships and tuition discounts.

How to apply for and receive Scholarships

Tuition discounts and grants are applied to student accounts and a financial aid application is not necessary to receive these awards.

Students who wish to apply for scholarships must file the formal application MB Biblical Seminary-Fresno Financial Aid Application
with the Financial Aid office by May 1st for the Fall semester and Oct 15th for the Spring semester.

Appreciation for Scholarships

There are many families and foundations who fund these scholarships. If your scholarship was funded by a specific person or organization, it is important to send a letter of appreciation to the donors of that scholarship. They often wish to know how their investment in leadership training is being used. This also encourages donors to continue to support student aid at MB Biblical Seminary. Please be sure to send a thank you letter promptly if you are notified of a specific donor for your scholarship.
