Mark’s Gospel is a concise record of many important events in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. But it is also a literary work – a narrative (or rather a series
of narratives). It is also a theological masterpiece. And it is an intriguing book, often posing questions but not giving simple answers, or hinting at deeper meanings that are not made crystal clear. In this course we will be exploring the history, the narrative, the theology and the challenge of Mark’s Gospel.
