Psychopharmacology
This course provides an introduction to organic, biochemical etiologies of mental disorders, and the use of psychoactive medications in their treatment. Students will receive basic information on frequently prescribed psychoactive medications, as well as an appreciation of the necessity of diagnostic and adjunctive physician/psychiatric referrals.
