HIV/AIDS

This course covers the characteristics and methods of assessment and treatment of people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Students will be asked to examine their own attitudes and preconceptions about HIV/AIDS and how these might impact the counseling or pastoral relationship.
