Cross-Cultural Counseling
The course will focus on the problems and issues arising from values and assumptions that affect counseling with families and persons of different cultural backgrounds. Students will be expected to interact with persons and families of different ethnic origins in Fresno and in the Los Angeles immersion experience. Students are encouraged to take this course during their first year, preferably following MF-602 Counseling Individuals and Couples, and MF-540 Interpersonal Communication. Special Fees Apply.
